5 Card Poker - Rules

The number of the participating players in this game can vary from 2 to 10. At the start of the game the dealer deals each player 1 card, face down. You have to look at this so called 'Hole Card' but don't let anybody else see this card. It needs to remain unknown to the opposing players. The next round of cards will be dealt Face Up. Then he puts the pack face down in front of himself on the table.

The player with the highest ranking up-card now makes the opening bet. Now you have to either Call or Raise to stay in the game. After all the bets are made the dealer deals another up-card to the remaining players.

The second round of betting starts with the player holding the highest ranking hand with the 2 up-cards. The player then has 3 choices. He can Drop Out, Check or Bet. The rest of the players can Stay, Play, Fold or Raise. The next round the dealer again deals another up-card to each player. Now you have 3 up-cards and 'The Hole' on the table in front of you.

The third round of betting works exactly like the second. After the bets are made the dealer deals one final round of up-cards for a total of 5 cards.

The fourth is the final betting round and works just like the second and third except players can also choose to Call instead of Playing or Staying. After all betting is completed, one after another the players turn over their Hole Cards, hereby determining the winning player with the highest rank, who wins the pot in the middle.
